Our MP, Jo Swinson pays a visit to Reza Wood Designs
We had a very special visitor to our woodworking studio at Reza Wood Designs this week, our local Member of Parliament and deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats, Jo Swinson. Jo was given a tour of our production facilities and had the chance to see how we take discarded oak Scotch whisky barrels and transform them into one-of-a-kind gifts and furniture.
She was particularly interested in our exporting plans, following on from Reza Wood Designs winning the Heathrow Airport World of Opportunity programme for Scotland. We discussed how we plan to expand our sales into new markets across the world. It's great to get government support like this for our small business and we really appreciate Jo taking the time out of her very busy schedule to meet with us.
