In these days of ecommerce and with the popularity of online shopping from the comfort of your own home or phone soaring, you may wonder why we continue doing events when we can connect easily with customers digitally. The fact is we actually love getting out and taking part in various festivals and fairs, you can't beat face to face communication and it's a great chance for us to meet you, our customers and catch up with fellow exhibitors. So what's in it for you?  Are there any advantages to visiting us at an event?  We think there are plenty so here's our top 5 reasons why you should!

5 reasons why you should visit us at an event

1.Sensory experience: Photographs are on substitute for the real thing. Especially for something as sensual as wood. You'll be able to see, touch and smell our products for yourself. Pick them up, turn them around, get a better idea of size and the material.  You'll also be able to select the exact product you want.  As each barrel stave is different, there may be more or less grain or it will be lighter or darker in appearance than another.

2. Something new, different or one-off:  We are constantly coming up with new product ideas or variations and we usually launch these at events first as it's great for us to hear what you think!  We sometimes have one off pieces too which we rarely list online so if you are looking for something a bit unusual you are most likely to find it at an event.

3. Better offers:  At many events we'll sell a selection of items cheaper than online. Why? well, we've gone to considerable effort to get our products to the event and we don't really want to take them all home again, so our bulkier, heavier items are at the best price you'll find.

4. Meet the Maker: Come and meet the artisan behind all our great products, Ali Fakourpoor. He'll be happy to share his passion for wood and all things whisky and Scotland related. Find out how our gifts are made or tell us about your favourite whisky, we love a good chat and welcome all questions.  We love nice comments about our products too!

5. No hard sell!: We never push people to buy - promise!  We don't enjoy this sales approach ourselves when we're looking to purchase something so you won't feel pressured at our stand.
