The end of winter here in Scotland is fast approaching, flowers are starting to bloom, days are getting longer and it’s even getting warmer.  Like many of our friends, we’re not great fans of the long Scottish winter and love to celebrate the arrival of spring. So what better way than by a wee treat?

There are lots of good reasons to treat yourself, maybe you’ve managed to keep that New Year’s resolution going, you might have a bit of birthday money to splash or perhaps it’s just time to be nice to yourself and indulge a little, after all life is for living! Whisky Barrel Tabletop Clock with Japanese Kimono Silk

​In these uncertain Brexit times it’s good to remember there’s a whole world out there.  Our Kimono tabletop clock celebrates Scotland’s connection to Japan through Rita Cowan, who together with her Japanese husband took whisky to Japan, eventually setting up the Nikka whisky distillery.  Made from recycled Scotch whisky barrels and Japanese Kimono I think you’ll agree the effect is stunning.

​We all need a pick me up in this season, whether that’s an Americano, green tea or indulging in a hot chocolate, our wee coasters are the perfect place to put your cup.  You’ll be doing your bit for the environment too as they are all recycled from whisky barrel lids often around 50 years old.

​If you’ve been incredibly good this year so far then why not completely spoil yourself with our standing lamp. Made from whisky barrel staves from a sherry cask. These are very popular with good reason, they are a great conversation piece in any home.  Once again, all recycled so eco-friendly too and one of a kind as every stave is different.
